| Clarwick design and manufacture a range of Automatic Filters to suit site specific problems. We choose the best available media after a full water analysis has been performed. Concentrations of contaminates, Flow rates, Water usage and Pumping capacity are also included in any design calculations. |

SYSTEM MANAGEMENT AND BACKWASHING |

During service an Automatic Filter will collect the contaminates from the water and hold it on the media. In order to remove the accumulated deposits from the filter bed, the water flow through the filter is reversed (backwashed) . Water is run to drain at a high flow rate to separate the filter media from the deposits.
The deposits being washed to drain.
A control valve mounted either on the top or the side of the vessel completes the backwash cycle automatically. The intervals and times are set during installation. Backwash and fast rinse times are set per cycle; to suit individual conditions. |
