Clarwick Ltd. provides quality chemical cleaning services in a safe, documented and professional manner. We provide the following services.

Acid Wash:

The build up of scale in pipework, boilers or heat exchangers reduces the efficiency of the heating installation. Scaled up boilers are dangerous and will cause the boiler to fail inspection. Scaled up heat exchangers have reduced efficiency. Scaled pipework has reduced flow and increased pressure drop resulting in increased pumping costs. Clarwick Ltd. provides a specialised acid cleaning service.

Alkali Wash:

New Pipework Installations typically contain grease, swarf and debris, Clarwick Ltd. provides a full pre-clean service, flushing to remove the debris and swarf followed by an alkali wash to remove any grease.

Sterilisation and Disinfection:

We disinfect new pipework installation in accordance with BS6700. We carry out full risk assessment of existing hot and cold water systems and where necessary we carry out disinfection of pipework and systems in accordance with HS(G)70. We provide certification of Disinfection and use an independent laboratory to carry out a legionella and bacteria analysis after we have completed the Disinfection. Sterilisation services are available for hot water systems, for example calorifiers and associated pipework.

Safety is paramount in all industries and is becoming a key factor in deciding to give contracts. Where chemicals are involved safety is much more critical. Clarwick Ltd. is committed to safety. Safety comes first. All Clarwick personnel are not only provided with safety equipment they are trained in it’s proper use.

Before we commence work on site a specific site safety session is held, all equipment is checked before any chemical is used on site.
When Clarwick is working with hazardous chemicals the area is cordoned off and safety notices are posted at all points of entry. Points of use will be labeled “Do Not Use”. Access is limited to authorised personnel.

We follow documented procedures.

The supply and disposal of chemicals is left to the experts. Clarwick Ltd. organises to have all hazardous chemicals delivered by professionals. Where chemical disposal cannot be handled safely by our client we will have the chemical waste removed & disposed of by experts who will provide full certification of disposal. Method of disposal will be recorded and presented to the customer as part of the final documentation package.

Our passivation rig is complete with an 800 litre insulated and vented 316 stainless steel tank, pump set and heat exchanger. All wetted materials are suitable for use with passivation chemicals and temperatures as are all hoses and temporary connections. To ensure clean and smooth internal surfaces of the tank we have had this tank manufactured with a dimple jacket and not an internal heating coil.

We have also incorporated a steam pressure reducing station to the heat exchanger.

DOCUMENTATION:

Our documentation package is second to none, we provide a fully documented procedure and we follow that procedure, each step is signed off before we proceed to the next, all results are recorded and a full report and certification is submitted at the end of each job. Our work is carried out in accordance with recognised standards - ASTM A380, HS(G)70 & BS6700.
