GEM, RUBY AND SAPHIRE REPLACEMENT FILTERS. |

Gem Replacement:
This is the replacement filter for the water gem.
Simply turn off the water and disconnect the push fit connections on the inlet/outlet water tubes and discard the old element and fit new filter.
Flush water for 3 – 5 minutes.

PXO5:
This Pre-filter is used in the Ruby, Saphire and the Platinum.
This element is manufactured from polypropylene using blown micro fiber technology. The process does not use wetting agents, solvents or binders. The micro fibers are thermally bonded. Particles are trapped through the depth of the element. And are available in 10” and 20” lengths.
Max. flow rate: 10” length=16 L/min.
Micron rating: Nominal 5 micron

CBR2:
This filter is used in the Ruby and sapphire it contains powdered activated carbon briquette which is more effective at reducing levels of certain organics. In addition it filters down to 0.5 micron and blocks Giardia and Cryptosporidium cysts. The element also contains a media which reduces Lead making this a truly multi-purpose filter.

S330RL: This is the U.V. lamp for the Saphire system. This item should be changed every 12 months.
QS330: This is the Quartz Sleeve for the Saphire system. This item should be changed every 24 months. |

This element is the Pre-filter for the Diamond filter system.
They are manufactured from Polypropylene in the form of a string that is wound onto a Polypropylene core. The element traps particles through its depth.

ROCF;
This is the second and third stages of filtration that the water under goes.
The ROCF is constructed from carbon impregnated cellulose media. This makes it a dual-purpose filter for the reduction of fine sediment, taste, odour and chlorine.

RO/TFC/75:
This is the fourth stage of filtration that the water under goes.
This is a TFC (Thin Film Composite membrane)
It can produce up to 75 us gallons of water per day.
The membrane reject greater than 90% dissolved solids. |

RO/P/CF:
This is the fifth and final stage of filtration that the water under goes.
It is a carbon filter which polishes the water as it exits the system. |
