SEDIMENT FILTERS

Economy Housing:
The housing shown accepts a 10” element.
The inlet/outlet connections are ¾” BSP female.
The Max.working pressure is 6 bar.
The bowl is clear which allows for visual inspection of elements.
Accessories available include mounting brackets and bowl spanners.

Wound Elements:
These elements are manufactured from Polypropylene in the form of a string that is wound onto a Polypropylene core. The element traps particles through its depth.
These elements are not washable and are available in10” and 20” lengths
Max. Flow rate:                     10” length=16L/min.      20”=30L/min
Micron rating:                        1 – 50 microns

Spun elements:
This element is manufactured from polypropylene using blown micro fiber technology. The process does not use wetting agents, solvents or binders. The micro fibers are thermally bonded. Particles are trapped through the depth of the element. And are available in 10” and 20” lengths.
Max. Flow rate:                     10” length=16 L/min. 20”= 30L/min.
Micron rating:                        1 – 75 microns

Washable Elements:
This element is washable many times and is basically a sheet of nylon wrapped on a plastic core. Particles are trapped on the outside circumference and are available in 10” lengths
Max. Flow rate:                     10” length=16 L/min.
Micron rating:                        50 microns

Pleated Elements:
These are a polyester sheet wrapped and pleated (looks like an accordion) on a plastic core. They trap dirt on the outside surface, which is very large due to the pleats. They can be washed and re-used up to ten times and are available in 10” lengths.
Max. Flow rate:                      10” length = 45 L/min.
Micron rating:                        30 and 50 microns

CARBON CARTRIDGE FILTERS

C1:
The C1 is constructed from carbon impregnated cellulose media. This makes it a dual-purpose filter for the reduction of fine sediment, taste, odour and chlorine.
Max. flow rate:                     19 L/min.
Micron rating:                       Nominal 5
Temperature range:             5o C - 50o C

Gac Series:
Water flows through the length of the element this ensures good contact time with the carbon allowing for maximum adsorption of contaminates. A nominal 20 micron post filter is incorporated to reduce carbon fines and suspended particles.  Available in 10”, 20” and Big blue versions.
Max. Flow rate:                      10” length=3L/min.      20”=5L/min.     10” BB=5L/min.
Micron rating:                        Nominal 20
Temperature range:              5o C – 50o C

EP 10:
This element combines carbon block filtration with the higher dirt holding capacity of carbon impregnated elements. These attributes make this a high class dual purpose filter. With twice the chlorine removal capacity of competitive 10 micron carbon blocks. Available in 10” and 20” lengths.
Max. flow rate:                      10” length=5 L/min. 20”=10L/min.
Micron rating:                        Nominal 5
Temperature range:              5o C – 50o C

CBR2:
This element contains powdered activated carbon briquette which is more effective at reducing levels of certain organics. In addition it filters down to 0.5 micron and blocks Giardia and Cryptosporidium cysts. The element also contains a media which reduces Lead making this a truly multi-purpose filter.
Max. flow rate:                      10” length=5 L/min.
Micron rating:                        Nominal 0.5
Temperature range:              5o C – 50o C
