 SANITARY HOUSING RANGE: 1" TO 4" SANITARY FLANGE
Osmonics sanitary filter housings combine superior performance with maximum value to meet the challenges of critical applications. Targeted specifically for sterile filtration of liquid and gaseous fluids, these filter housings are deigned for complete and easy disassembly. They are entirely autoclavable to provide the ultimate in cleanability .
Osmonics sanitary filter housings have electro-polished outer surfaces with inner surfaces electro-polished to <25Ra micro -inch producing a crevice-free design which meets or exceeds 3A sanitary requirements. All surfaces undergo mechanical polishing followed by electro-polishing to provide a clean surface that is free of pits and scratches. Surface finishes of each housing are verified to insure smooth and clean surfaces.
Materials of construction are low carbon 316L stainless steel on all wetted metal components and FDA -acceptable materials for elastomer seals. Osmonics certifies that each housing passes strict engineering guidelines, including certified welding and hydrostatic testing to 1.5 times the standard liquid pressure rating.
Housings are available to accept either 222 O-ring and fin (EH) or 226 O-ring locking tab and fin (FH) memtrex and flotrex cartridge filters and accommmodate single to 21x40" cartridges.
HYGIENIC RANGE: 1" TO 3" HYGIENIC CLAMP
When sanitary grade housings are not required but steam sterilisation in-situ is, the hygienic range is the economic option. Accepting 226 O-ring and fin (FH) cartridges and manufactured in 316 stainless steel, cleaning, maintenance and element replacement is made easy with the crevice-free design. Vent drain connections are provided throughout the range with optional inlet/outlet connections in RJT, IDF and DIN (standard hygienic clamp).
